EMBROIDER CUSTOM PATCH N' SEW ON - 1

Service Description

Join us for a unique opportunity to join Andrew with his high tech embroidery machine and Hannah with her passion for customizing clothes with her sewing skillset. Over 4 lessons we will work together to develop each students personal, hand-drawn artwork into a patch ready to sew onto a garment! We will work on sketches, mood boards and color palette schemes to finalize images. We will then load images into digitized files on the embroidery machine to create our patch together, stitched with in up to 6 colours with Andrew. This will then be ready sew on by hand or machine! During this process of collaboration we will divide our time between practicing sewing patches onto our clothes, with both hand-sewing and machine stitch techniques with Hannah. This involves working on the best stitch choice, correct hand placement and posture and finishing techniques for beginner to intermediate young sewers. After trying both hand and machine methods, we will sew our final personally designed cloth patches onto our favourite garment! This opportunity is not only a great way to transform your art to the cloth but to also learn about the professional creative process. The outcome is a unique, one of a kind piece representing our true identity! What do you want to say and represent through your clothes and style. Lets make a statement piece!
