Accepting commissions from private clients between shows or production jobs has enabled me to collaborate on some fantastic creative pieces. From designing and making fantasy wedding dresses which brides couldn’t find off the rack to helping establish a certain ‘look’ for Influences, I’ve been able to make peoples dreams come true stitch by stitch!

 

The process involves many conversations, mood boards and drafted sketches then many measurements and multiple fittings including that of a ‘toile’ which is the first garment construction made in plain canvas.

The result is a one of a kind piece, made to measure, custom ordered to a specific brief. A complex, imaginative, satisfying process for all handcrafters and client team involved.
